idea Journal

I realized this morning I need an idea journal while I was responding to a post asking if I was going to develop a project I posted into a video for others. This was something I have talked about with a freind off and on for 7 years. I have a lot of ideas that never get explored or developed. One of my words for this year is intentional. So to be intentional about developing my ideas....I am going to create a journal specifically for idea development. Ok I know for most people this isnt a huge revelation. But for me... Writing down feels like ownership....if I write it....I feel responsible for it. Anyone else feel like that? Maybe its just me.

Life can get hard. Things happen in ways we might never imagine. But God isnt suprised and he is there for us to stand on and stand in.  He is our rock and our fortress, but also our rest.

so many plans

I keep making plans and then not doing any of it because I get distracted. I am the queen of planning....but a sloth at follow through.  So today begins the first day of my own challenge. Every day from today until the end of the year...(except Sundays), I will blog. My daughter did an animation a day challenge for herself several years ago and made it to over 1000 days. I can do til January 2021.

I am being made by a master potter and he is not a sloth at finishing things. The work is his... Not mine....and I need to stop arguing with him. 

january reboot

Its january again and I realized I failed on my blogging attempt. I decided I would try blogging instead of playing games on my phone. We shall see. :)

Basket

I made a crochet basket today by crocheting around clothesline. I am going to focus on baskets and bags with this method during the month of February

Crochet hasn't been happening

I have been tutoring a lot more and running people around and crochet hasn't been happening much. I need to get better at goal planning and time managment. I know I have filled up a lot of time with tutoring, taekwondo,  and babysitting. Need to find a better balance.

I am glad I did 3 projects last week

This way I don't feel as guilty about not completing one this week. I have a scarf I may finish, but not something new.

Next week's project

The blanket is finished. I will have to do a second project lol
